Our kitchen/diner is over a crawl space. I feel like the floor 'bounces' slightly when we walk across the room. We have a large kitchen island with quartz countertop and I suspect it is too heavy for the existing support. I'm looking for an estimate to add some extra structural support or stabilisers. Thanks

We are about to finish our basement. The house is 4 years old and the original builder has installed 2x4 studs with R12 insulation and a vapor as part of the original basement construction. we pulled the insulation and vapor barrier off and found some wetness on some walls and now it started to dry. We would like someone to have a look and suggest a remedy to control the moisture before we finish the basement.

John has a house in Campbellsville with a dirt floor. In order to protect the house from rot due to moisture, John wanted to add a Vapor barrier tot he crawlspace. Omni Basement Systems added Cleanspace liner which is a 20mil thick liner over the soil and sealed it up to the walls so moisture cannot come into the crawlspace air.
