The Triplesafe features three pumps in one sump location. 2 of the pumps are A.C. driven, cast-iron, Zoeller pumps. The third pump runs off a 12volt D.C. power supply. Job Stories From Guelph, ON
Waterproofing and wall Stabilization in a Monolithic foundation

Scott has a home with a Monolithic style construction. Monolithic foundation is when the footing and the floor is poured as one piece before the construction starts and the walls are constructed on top. This is the least common type of foundation in our area. This style has a different challenges when it comes to waterproofing and wall stabilization because you can't chip the floor to put a drainage system in.

Omni Basement systems employed a P. Eng to design a stabilization system. Omni Basement System designed the Waterproofing system

First the Waterproofing. Because you cannot dig down in the floor at the wall joint because the floor at eh wall is very thick and doubles as the footing, a cove style piping system is epoxied to the floor at the floor/wall joint. Then every 5 feet, a trough is opened up perpendicular to the wall which drains the water to a sub-floor drainage system that is about 18" from the wall. The secondary drainage system is drained to a sump pump system.

For the problem with the bowing walls, a bracket is bolted and epoxied tot he floor at the floor/wall joint and an "I" beam is attached to the bracket.  At the top the "I"beam is attached to a bracket that is bolted to the joist system of the house. This bracket is adjustable so that the wall can be straightened over time. To reinforce further, Holes were drilled in each block from the outside and the block cavity were filled with reinforced grout. This process will make the walls solid for more strength.
This was one of the more extensive jobs that we have completed with the crew working weeks to complete.

Project Location: Guelph, ON
I have a crawlspace under a small section of my house (limestone, built in 1856). Last fall during a heavy rainfall, the space flooded with as much as 6 inches of water in some areas. There is currently no subpump or waterproofing. The ceiling has been spray foamed for insulation, but there is mould growing on the joists. I would like to have the mould removed, and get an estimate of what can be done about water proofing and/or a pump installation.
