Jeremy S. from Hamilton, ON called because his basement was leaking. A representative from Omni Basement Systems went out to do an assesment on the property.
Alessio from Omni Basement Systems found that this was a block foundations with a lowered floor which showed an exposed footing. Bescause this is a lowered floor, it cannot be waterproofed from the exterior of the house. Omni Basement Systems installed a perimeter drainage system called WaterGuard that drains water under the floor and from the block walls to a Super Sump. On the walls and over the exposed footing Omni installed Delta Wall membrane in accordance with the City of Hamilton work permit to insure all moisture is drained from the wall and down into the WaterGuard drainage system
THis house now enjoys a Lifetime, fully transferrable warantee that he will never have water on the floor from the WaterGuard frainage system regardless of who lives in this huse.
