Omni Bsement systems installed Cleanspace moisture barrier. Cleanspace is a 20 mil thick poly which has 7 layers. The Cleanspace can never rip or come off from movign around on it. It also makes your ugly crawlsapce clean and white and not an eyesore when you go to sell your house down the road.

Chantal & Chris has a home right on the Niagara escarpment in Ridgeville, on. While renovating the basement to add a bedroom, the renovator opened up a wall and noticed that the front wall of their home was bowing. Since the house is built directly into a hill, the earth wants to push against the wall.
The Bowing wall was considered to be in stage two, which means there is block shear present. Block shear is when the first course of block is held in place by the concrete floor and the rest of the wall is being pushed in creating a gap between the first and the second course.
Omni Basement Systems has been hired to Brace this wall with the PowerBrace by Supportworks

The Powerbrace is a fully galvanized "I" beam that is attached to the footing of the home and the floor joists. This will stabilize the wall and possibly straighten over time.
