We have a couple leaks in our basement we are looking to get repaired.

I have a home built in the early 80's with wooden window wells and recently there has developed an undermining of the ground near one of the windows. The wood seems to be deteriorating and in a large rains storm recently there was water on the basement floor near this window. I am looking to replace these window wells and to determine the cause of the undermining. I have been in this house since 2010 and until recently I have had no issues with leaks.
