Challenge

Ken called to say that he had one corner of the garage that had sunk. The corner had dropped so much that cracks were showing up in the drywall in the bedroom above. The corner of the garage was cracked and was lower 

Solution

Omni came in a engineer to develop a solution. 

Because the area of the house was only one story and had vinyl clad siding, the structure was too light for Push Piers. The engineer recommend Helical Piers. Helical piers are fully galvanized piers that are screwed in to the soil rather than pushed. Once the piers are in place, they are attached to the footings and the section of the house can be lifted back to original.
