Finished wall
Sometimes cracks are behind finished walls and the wall needs to be removed.
Crack exposed
Once the wall is opened, a crack is revealed.
Floor opened
A drain pocket is developed at the base of the crack.
Flexible sealant
A bead of flexible sealant added to the crack as the first line of sealant.
Drainage foam
Just in case the bead of sealant fails, a 4" wide strip of open cell drainage foam is added.
Flexible sealant added
To seal the drainage foam, Flexible sealant is added over top.
Sealant troweld flat
The flexible sealant is troweled over to make sure no water comes through.
Vinyl covering
To finish the job, a strip of white vinyl type covering is installed over the entire area and then the floor is re-concreted back again(Not shown)
