Dirt Floor
The dirt floor contribute to moisture in the building envelope.
Drainage mating
The Drainage matting will allow any water to flow to the sump and protect the vapor barrier when crawled on.
Sealed seams
The seams are sealed to prevent moisyure from escaping.
Wrapped piers
Another area that can emit moisture is around the piers.
Walls
The walls are sealed.
Cleanspace
The Cleanspace liner will act as a vapor barrier. it is 20mil thick and cord reinforced.
Fastened to walls
The Cleanspace goes up the walls and gets fastened and sealed.
Prevention from dry rot
Reducing the moisture in a Crawlspace will prevent the building materials from getting moldy which causes health issues.
Sealed vents
The old thinking was to have vents to the Crawlspace. This is very bad because it will only bring in moisture.
