Drew has a home with a Crawlspace and like most, the moisture will eventually ruin the building materials and cause mold and sagging on the floor joists. Omni Basement Systems sealed the Crawlspace with a vapor barrier called Cleanspace. Cleanspace is a 7 layer, 20 mil liner that is sealed and fastened to walls and piers. Moisture can not escape building envelope. Drew now has a dry and clean crawlspace to store items in. The look is bright white and clean.

Dirt Floor

This dirt floor will emit moisture into the building envelope.

Moisture in the block

The perimeter blocks contain moisture that will rot the building materials

Leveling

Before the products are installed, some leveling is necessary

Drainage matting

A drainage matting goes down first. this will protect the Cleanspace.

Cleanspace vapor barrier.

The Cleanspace is now attached and sealed to the walls and posts.

Dehumidifier

A sanidry Sedona is installed to remove moisture from the air. THis will help the building materials and also make the air upstairs dryer and easier to heat and cool.

Duct

The duct work will circulate the dry air throughout the crawlspace.
