Cracking in block n
This is sure sign that you have a bowing wall. The vertical cracking connects with the horizontal crack. This is caused by soil expansion or frost heave.
Footing for Powerbrace
The pot holes are where the footings for the powerbrace will go.
Holes for grout
The holes are drilled at 4 blocks up and the cavities of the blocks will be filled with grout to solidify the lower part of the walls.
Cleanspace wall
Where the powerbraces are being installed, Cleanspace wall membrane is installed first to make sure the beams get right tight to the wall.
Top bracket
When the floor joists are running parallel to the wall, a long bracket with blocking is used to support the beam.
Lever bracket
The engineered Lever Bracket by Supportworks uses the floor joist system of the home to secure the Powerbrace.
Temporary wood support
These pieces of wood blocks are temporary and will be removed once the floor is repoured.
Powerbrace in position
The Powerbrace are in position and will be tightened to spec once the floor is dry.
Adjustment bolt
The bolt that pushes against the beam is used to adjust it to push the wall back. Sometimes this is done over time.

Delta MS is used between the Powerbraces fot drainage and by code of City of Hamilton
Floor restored
After all the braces and the waterproofing is in place, the floor is re-concreted back to original height.
