Green tape marks the spot
The System designer used a strip of green tape to show the installation technician exactly where the beam will go.
Footing
The crew open up the floor where the jack will go and create a footing. this is 2x2x2 feet. filled with gravel which creates the "Bulb of influence"
Jakcs installed
The crew foreman installs the jacks and makes sure they are plumb for the maximum support.
Beam with joist assisit brackets
The beam is installed under the floor joists using the joist assist brackets. The brackets help with the installation by allowing a cord to hold the beam in place but they also spread the load further across the joists.
Floor re-concreted
The floor is finished back again with fresh concrete at the exact same height as before.
