Powerbrace
This Powerbrace is attached to the footing and the floor joist system of the home.

bridge bracket
When the floor joists run perpendicular, we use the bridge bracket to spread the load over two joists.

Bottom bracket
Because this home has a very wide footing (8"-10") we were able to bolt the Powerbrace to the footing. In a lot of cases, we make a footing beside to support the posts.

Lever bracket
When the joists run parallel to the wall, we use the lever bracket and then use blocking to put the load across several joists.

Undersized
The previous owner of the home installed these undersized 1" square posts that were not holding the wall and are not adjustable to try to straighten the wall.
