Severely bowing wall
In some areaas as much as 3" deflection in the wall. THis wall is almost to the point of coming down.
Temperary bracing
THe wall is temporarily braced prior to excavation.
Excavation
THe wall is excavated and then is can be pushed back into place.
Footing for Powerbrace.
Footings are dug out to hold Powerbrace in place. Concrete will replace the steel bracing.
Powerbrace
Large steel "I" beams are attached to the footings and the floor joist system.
Large adjustment bracket.
The bracket and the adjusting bolt will hold and adjust the top of the Powerbrace.
Waterproofing on outside
Because we excavated, we need to waterproof the exterior.
Ready to be backfilled
THe waterproofing is in place and the trench will be backfilled.
