This is an old farm house with parged walls that are leaking and soft beams.
Footing for SmartJacks
A 24 x 24 x24" footing is created for the Smartjacks. This will be filled with gravel and concrete.
Steel reinforcing
3 layers of steel reinforcing is used for the footing.
Smartjacks and supplemental beams
After the footing is added, Smartjacks and supplemental beam is installed.
Trench for waterproofing
A trench is opened up and a weeping pipe is installed for waterproofing
Sump pump liner
A Supersump sump pump liner is set in place and the Zoeller pump is installed with the discharge line.
Wall membrane
In this case, Delta MS is used as the wall membrane to direct moisture into the weeping system.
Concrete floor with inpection ports
The trench is now covered with concrete along with an inspection port so that the system can be checked at any time.
Sump pump complete
The system is complete and the floor is restored.
Discharge line
A discharge line is installed to direct the water away from the home.
