Large Diagonal crack
This is a tell tale sign that your wall is bowing. There are also some horizontal cracking.
Footing are exposed.
Footing are exposed to secure the whole wall and also for waterproofing.
Armor Lock
This Armor Lock will secure the wall to the joist header to prevent the wall from tipping.
Carbon Armor applied.
The 7" wide carbon fiber strap is now adhered to the wall using several cotes of epoxy. Notice that the carbon fiber goes all the way to the footings.
Spacing
The straps are attached to the wall every four (4') feet. The horizontal and diagonal cracks are filled with a flexible sealant for waterproofing.
Waterproofing membrane
A waterproofing membrane is now attached to the wall with a drainage flange at the bottom.
Floor re-concrete
New concrete is added to restore the height of the floor.
Membrane fastened
The membrane is mechanically atached and sealed at the top.
