Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Fixing a previously repaired wall crack in Binbrook, ON

Nabil has a home in Binbrook and there is a wall crack that has been previously been repair by another company. The other company used concrete to parge over the crack. it probably last a couple years before the wall moved and it re-cracked and re-leaked again. Omni repaired the wall crack by first grinding off the old repair, then using the Flexispan system. The Flexispan stays flexible for the life of the home and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Another company covered wall crack with concrete. Concrete is not flexible. It re-cracks and re-leaks.

Part of the Flexispan process is to open the floor so that we can create a drain pock just in case of and leakage.

Draianage foam

Once the crack is filled with flexible sealant, a drainage foam is installed over top. This is just incase.

Waterproof membrane.

To make sure no water ever comes through, a 2 part flexible membrane is installed over top.

Floor reconcreted back

Once all the membranes are installed, the floor can be re-concreted back to original height and the insulation can be taped back again.
