Matthew has a home with a nasty crawlspace in Hamilton, On. Keith from Omni Basement Systems met with Matthew and recommended the Cleanspace vapor barrier system to isolate the earth moisture from the home.
The Cleanspace barrier is a 20mil thick, 7 layer lining.
Gelasia has a home and there is a lot of work being done to the basement to get it ready for a new apartment. Omni Basement Systems was hired to install a new sump pump system in the basement. Omni installed the Supersump. The Supersump features a Zoeller cast-iron pump, a waterwatch alarm and an airtight floor drain.
Michelle is one of original customers of Omni Basement Systems. Her house is on a property that the backyard slopes toward the wall and it is causing it to bow,
Omni stabilizied the block foundation wall by adding Carbon Armor. Carbon Armor is 7" wide strips of Carbon Fiber that is adhered tot eh wall by epoxy. THe top of the all is also achored tot he rim joist using AmorLocks.
Matt has an old house in Hamilton. This house probably started as a just a crawlspace style and since it has had the basement lowered. This gives challenges to doing waterproofing. An interior waterproofing job is the only solution in this case. Omni Basement Systems, along with a P. Engineer designed a system that would waterproof this style of foundation.
our Cleanspace wall membrane went on the wall and where there is a bench footing from the basement being lowered, Delta drainage membrane went over the footing to allow water to drain past into the WaterGuard interior drainage system.
Matt also needed support for his sagging floors so Omni Basement systems installed a fully galvanized supplemental beam and SmartJacks to support it.
Matt in Hamilton had a crawlspace in Hamilton, On that needed a lot of help. As is with all crawlspaces, it needed encapsulation which is a vapor barrier over the ground to protect the house from the earth's moisture. The floors were already sagging because of the poor supports that it was sitting on. Omni Basement Systems went to work,. First cleaning the debris out and leveling the ground in order to install the Cleanspace vapor barrier. The next step was to install supplemental beams under the joist system and support them with our fully galvanized and adjustable Smartjacks system. these SmartJacks are designed to hold up to 30.000lbs. and will never rust.
